Boarding

Our board prices are $400 + based on the type of board and additional services requested. 

$400/ month per horse

Pasture Board

Pasture board includes 24 hr turn out with a run-in shelter for your horse to come and go as he pleases. Horses on pasture board are assigned to small herds they are compatible with. All horses will be separated for both AM and PM feedings to ensure they get their full ration and assigned diet. Horses are rotated throughout pastures frequently, and no one horse will have a designated permanent pasture. Pasture board includes: 24 hr turn out, horse trailer parking, tack locker, personal feed/hay storage, riding arena, riding trails, feeding 2x daily, hay in winter months ($50 upcharge November through March) , summer fly spray ($1/day), winter blanketing service ($1/day). 

Current negative coggins and current shot record due up front. No discount offered if the boarder provides their own feed/hay that differs from what we provide. 

$50 holding fee required upon completion of boarding contract. 

$450/ month per horse

Stall Board

Stall board includes day time turn out with a run-in shelter and a barn stall at night. Horses on stall board will be pastured with other horses during turn out where they are compatible. Stall board horses have AM and PM feedings in their stall. Just as for pasture board, stall boarding horses have no permanent designated pasture. Stall board includes: day time turn out, horse trailer parking, tack locker, personal feed/hay storage, riding arena, riding trails, feeding 2x daily, *hay not included for stall board, summer fly spray ($1/day), winter blanketing service ($1/day), daily stall cleaning.

$20/ night per horse

Overnight Board

For out of town guests! If you are visiting the area of Swansboro, your horse will have overnight accommodations for the duration of your stay 

If you are on vacation in the area and travelling with your horse, then overnight boarding is the choice for you. Horses on overnight board will be on pasture for the duration of your stay. Each horse will be separated at AM and PM feedings, and have a run-in shelter to come and go as they please. Overnight boarders are required to email us their horse(s) current negative coggins and current shot records in advanced. 

Overnight boarders are required to provide their own feed/hay for the duration of their stay, and must pre-pay in full for their board. 

Boarding Rules

Rules are not flexible/ Do not demand services you don't pay for 


1. Each patron (18yo +) is responsible for the acknowledgement of the rules of Breezy Meadows. A legal guardian must sign and acknowledge receipt of the rules for any patron under 18. 

2. No running, screaming, throwing objects, or climbing on any object, regardless of age! No free roaming of the farm by any guest, regardless of age. No visiting horses without supervision or permission. This includes feeding items picked off the ground, or items guests bring with them. Guests may also not pet any horse on the property without supervision/permission from a staff member. 

3. Safety helmets are required to be worn by all riders during their lessons. Signing the liability release form does not exempt you from this rule. 

4. Parents/guardians, invited instructors, and guests are not to interrupt or coach a lesson in progress and are not permitted into the arena unless help is requested by the instructor. 

5. Do not diagnose horses that don't belong to you, or tell owners what is needed for their horse. 

6. Only horses boarded at Breezy Meadows may use the farm's facilities. Boarders wishing to invite a guest whose horse is boarded elsewhere must request a permission form from the barn owner/manager. Those guests are to meet with the owner/manager to sign a liability release form and the barn rules form. 

7. Lessons take priority! Do not ride in the arena while a lesson is in progress. If the resident instructor invites you in, you will ride at a similar level to the lesson. 

8. Boarders do not feed their horse from the barns supply of feed/hay. Hay and grain are monitored daily by the staff and are for on site use only. If you leave the farm for an event, you are required to provide your own feed/hay. 

9. No riding after barn hours unless special arrangements are made with the barn owner. Use of the arena lights is not included in your board, and comes at an additional cost. 

10. Boarders may keep up to 10 bales of hay per horse, and 5 bags of feed per horse at a time on the facility. Hay does not go to waste here! Extra hay will not be given to horses that have hay remaining in their pasture from a previous feeding. 

11. Boarders are responsible for all health medications, farriers, current negative coggins, veterinarian, and any state mandated inoculations. If a boarder's horse dies for any reason, that boarder is responsible for the removal of the carcass. 

12. Do not borrow horse related items from other boarders without permission. 

13. This is a DRAMA FREE facility. Worry only about yourself and your horse at all times. 

14. Be sure you understand and abide by the rules at all times. 

15. Boarders who use the wash rack for any reason must clean it completely after each use. Those who do not will be charged a clean up fee per offense. 

16. Always let the barn owner/manager know when you are going on a trail ride. Ride in pairs if possible. Stay on designated trails and on farm property. 

17. We reserve the right to rotate horses at any given moment to accommodate everybody and regenerate grazing areas. 

18. Speed limit on the farm is 5mph. Do not speed or use 4x4 anywhere on the farm. 

19. Boarders/guests are to keep dogs on a leash at all times, and clean up after your pets. 

20. Breezy Meadows is drug, alcohol, tobacco free. No exceptions. 

21. No soliciting! With permission from the barn owner/ items may be posted for sale. 

22. Any breach of the boarding contract and barn rules will result in your immediate removal from the farm and termination of your board. Boarders wishing to terminate their board must give a 30 day notice. Boarders that violate their contract and have board terminated by the barn owner will be given 15 days to vacate. 

23. We no longer accommodate boarders who have their horse(s) leased out to another person outside of Breezy Meadows. 

24. If you are the guest of a boarder, you may not under any circumstances visit the farm without the horse owner present.

Guest Rules: 

1. New customers must call to make an appointment to visit the farm. 

2. Customers are not permitted to tour the farm alone or interact with any horses on the premises. 

3. No running, screaming, throwing objects, climbing allowed by any guest. 

4. Customers do not have permission to make business arrangements of any kind with our boarders. 

5. Guests of boarders must sign in advanced a barn rules form and liability release form if they plan to ride the boarder's horse, or simply to visit the farm. Guests may also not visit the farm without the presence of the horse owner. 

6. Guests are not exempt from the no drugs, alcohol, tobacco use rule. 

7. Leave pets home during your visit.
